In Philosophy of Kerik, control of reality does not mean magical power over the external world. It means improving control over what is actually influenceable: attention, interpretation, decisions, resources, environment and participation in systems.

Individuality is not performative difference or life outside society. It is the ability to see which thoughts, roles and reactions were shaped by the environment and to decide consciously which of them to make one's own.

A conscious decision is not a guarantee of a correct outcome. It is a decision in which a person sees alternatives, constraints and possible consequences and accepts responsibility for the choice instead of merely reproducing a familiar script.
