About the book
The book works on three levels: a documentary personal story, current medical knowledge about gout, and practical experience of systematically rebuilding a way of life.
Medical explanations are kept distinct from personal experience. The author does not claim a miraculous cure; the story is about moving from uncontrolled disease to systematic management, treatment and restored function.
